Meet the Staff


Danielle Stuffing
Hospital Manager
Danielle was born and raised in Orofino, Idaho and was our hospital's first staff member in 2004.  She currently lives in Spokane with her amazing husband, four cute kitties, a cute frog name Donny and cute dog named Matthew. In her free time, Danielle loves to run, bicycle, hike, paddle boarding and spend time with her family.
 


 
 

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Angie Hanson
Veterinary Assistant
Angie has been with Lakewood Animal Hospital since 2007.  She attended North Idaho College and graduated with degrees in both Photography and Graphic Design.  While attending college, she worked as a veterinary assistant at Kootenai Humane Society.  Finding that she enjoyed working in the animal medical field, she pursued veterinary care and joined the Lakewood team.  In her spare time Angie enjoys photography, hiking, and traveling.  She currently resides in Coeur d’Alene with her dogs Paris and Posey and 2 chickens she lovingly calls “the Breakfast Club”.  

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 
Madison Walkington
Veterinary Assistant
Madison was born and raised in Sandpoint Idaho and is currently attending North Idaho College to earn her Pre-Veterinary degree. She started at Lakewood Animal Hospital in Spring of 2019. She has wanted to help and work with animals for as long as she can remember.  Madison currently lives in Post Falls and loves to spend time with her two cats, Lulu and Zola. Kalie Haines
Veterinary Assistant
Kalie was born and raised in North Idaho.  She started at Lakewood Animal Hospital in the summer of 2021.  She had dreamt of working in the medical field with animals to help them for as long as she can remember.  She currently lives in Post Falls with her dog and cat.  Kalie enjoys fostering kittens, hunting, entering bass fishing tournaments and spending time with her family and dog in the woods.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Sarah Metling
Veterinary Assistant
Sarah was born and raised in Pacifica, California where she worked as a veterinary technician for three years before moving to Post Falls Idaho.  Sarah started working at Lakewood Animal Hospital in November of 2021.  She has always had a passion for animals and knew she wanted to help them her entire life.  Sarah has two cats: Boomer and Nabby.  Sarah loves to read and watch hocky in her spare time.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Kristin Thow
Veterinary Assistant
Kristin was born and raised in Ventura, California where she worked at a surgical veterinary hosptial for 3 years prior to moving to Hayden, Idaho.  She graduated college earning degrees in Veterinary Technology and Natural Sciences with high honors.  Kristin has worked at Lakewood Animal Hospital since Novemeber 2023 and has always had a love for animals.  She has one dog, Marley Mae and loves spending time with her family, friends, hiking, archery and being outdoors.
